The most recent architectural project about the conservation of the Anhalter Bahnhof here in Berlin. Anhalter Bahnhof was once the biggest train station in Europe until it fell into ruins after WWII due to receiving major damages to the roof structure and other areas of the building. The only remaining piece from this structure is the main entrance, left to remember the once famous train station. My idea and goal were to construct a part of the internal walls and encasing it inside a 50 x 50 x 24m glass Cube, thus creating a new modern pavilion and preserving the new interior wall reconstruction for generations to come.

The main piece of this project, the reconstructed interior space. It is rebuild to the exact the measurements and materials in order to stay 100% true to its original design with the exception of the ceiling, which has been removed in order let light shine through and cast beautiful shadows from the giant glass cube encasing it.
